That didn’t take long. Less than two months after publicly acknowledging that “we have arrived at an important time when women feel they can and should relate their experiences, and men should pay attention” (translation: I’ll keep my hands to myself), presidential hopeful Joe Biden was all over a ten-year-old girl on Tuesday, leaning in close to her hair, whispering sweet nothings in her ear.

“I’ll bet you’re as bright as you are good-looking,” Biden gushed after the child asked him a question. The occasion for the former vice president’s latest up-close-and personal dealings with a female was a town hall in Houston sponsored by the American Federation of Teachers.

Here’s the video:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

When Biden discovered the child had ambitions to become a journalist, he walked her to the back of the room to meet reporters for the New York Times and Washington Post, neither of which whom elected to write about the incident. Something tells me they would have been less willing to overlook the vice president’s “relapse” if he had been a Republican.

The Post did devote an article earlier this year to what its writers dubbed Biden’s “affectionate, physical style.” It came out around the time a former candidate for lieutenant governor of Nevada described in intimate, horrifying detail an occasion when Biden smelled her hair plant and “proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head.”

It sounds as though Sleepy Joe may have a real problem.
