The more time that elapses since the shooting this past Tuesday at a Colorado high school that left one student dead and eight others injured, the less the incident fits the Left’s preconceived notions about who commits these murderous acts.
On Thursday it was revealed that Devon Erickson, one of the two alleged teen gunman, had criticized President Trump, expressed opposition to “Christians who hate gays,” and was a supporter of the left-wing Occupy Democrats. So much for the standard liberal narrative that all mass shooters are Bible-thumping conservatives. Next came the revelation that the second alleged shooter, Alec McKinney, is half-Mexican, thereby destroying the left-wing myth that all mass shooters are white.
Now comes the latest bombshell courtesy of the Daily Mail, which reports that McKinney’s father, Jose Evis Quintana, is am illegal alien and serial felon who did prison time for domestic violence against McKinney’s mother. There’s more:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Records show Quintana, 33, who was also deported twice, had a string of arrests in the Colorado dating back from 2008 to 2017.
Court papers show that despite Quintana terrorizing Alec’s mother Morgan Lynn McKinney, 32, he managed to convince her to marry him in 2009, a year before he was first deported.
Quintana, 33, who admitted to having a history of drink and drug problems, was sent back to his native Mexico on December 9, 2010.
So did Quintana’s stellar parental example rub off on his son? According to the Mail, “Alec, 16, had posted a message on social media about missing his father, just 11 days before the Tuesday May 7 shooting.”
For an added irony, an investigation into rumors that the school was a hotbed for “student violence” resulted in the school receiving a clean bill of health.
