The “mother of all caravans” is forming in Honduras, a headline in Mexico News Daily warned on Wednesday, adding that more than 20,000 refugees are beginning the long trek toward the U.S. border. Democrats in Congress were unfazed by the news. A day earlier, Kevin McAleenan, commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, held a press conference in El Paso, Texas, in which he declared that “our immigration system was at the breaking point.” This came as no surprise to Democrats, who had briefed McAleenan in Congress two weeks earlier, but again they had no visible reaction to the report.
The party of no remains firmly entrenched in denial that there is a crisis at the border because they cynically believe that a flood of migrants pouring into the country — the vast majority of them illegally — will ensure a permanent majority of Democratic voters. They will do anything to achieve that end, including turning their heads as the invasion continues.
One common argument we hear from congressional Dems is that the notion of a border crisis is a myth perpetrated by white nationalist Republicans who are determined to keep America “pure.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
But now, a man who is clearly not a white nationalist or a Republican has spoken up and insists the border crisis is real and imminent. He is former Obama Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, and he had this to say on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”`
BREAKING: President Obama's DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson says America's southern border is "truly in a crisis."

Johnson has been a spoiler for the Left before. At the height of accusations that the Trump administration was unprecedentedly “caging” migrant children, Johnson admitted the Obama administration had also detained children and families, emphasizing that “it was necessary.” He even noted that Obama had expanded child detention centers.
The question now is whether Democrats will heed his warning.
