Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has become a popular figure lately, receiving visitors, it seems, on a daily basis. For her part, the embattled Democratic leader hasn’t been all that enthusiastic about the heightened attention.
One of the groups that dropped by was a handful of illegal aliens that showed up at Pelosi’s house on Monday, chaperoned by right-wing activist Laura Loomer:
Loomer, accompanied by illegal immigrants [sic] from Guatemala and Mexico, lugged a tent onto Pelosi’s multimillion-dollar vineyard estate, freelance journalist Nick Monroe reported Monday. In large red letters, the word “immorality” was written across the tent; there were also photos of murder victims of illegal immigrants hanging from the front of the tent.
Pelosi responded to the presence of these “patriots” — a term she has used to characterize those who sneak across our sovereign border — by siccing the cops on them.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
On Tuesday, a second group of visitors came to see Pelosi, this one comprised of families who have been impacted by crimes committed by illegals. They stormed the speaker’s office on Capitol Hill, chanting “build the wall.” Again, Pelosi declined to meet with her “guests.”

As long as Nancy Pelosi continues to insist that a border wall is too “extravagant” or that it is “immoral” or whatever ridiculous objection she raises next, here’s hoping that the number of visits she receives grows to a point where it invades her dreams. Maybe then she’ll finally be willing to sit down and compromise with the president about a plan to defend the nation’s borders and end the government shutdown.
