It didn’t take long for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to get her feet wet. Her first term as a congress member is still three months off, but that didn’t stop her from allying herself with a group of young activists called the “Sunrise Movement” to storm the office of a veteran of Congress to protest inaction on global warming.
No doubt her constituents are pleased that she is already taking the initiative to fight the good fight — or at least they would be if she had aired her grievances with one of her Republican “enemies.” Instead, her target was soon-to-be-Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The move earned her negative style points from fellow Democrats:
@Ocasio2018 WTF are you doing? Nancy Pelosi is your friend, not your enemy. Nancy Pelosi passed cap-and-trade. Nancy Pelosi has ZERO influence on climate policy because GOP controls the Senate and WH no matter how much you protest. WTF are you doing?

First shot is a huge miss! Try protesting the Republicans

But it delighted the opposition:
Why are you so surprised? She majored in economics and shows that she’s illiterate in that area.

Hah! The Revolution shall eat its own! How delightful. We Evil Climate Deniers don’t even need to get involved! It’s awesome to watch. OMG, this plus Trump’s insane GIF of him doing a pro wrestling takedown of @CNN could be the best two things of the month.

If Ocasio-Cortez’s election had you worried that the minimum IQ among Congress members had dropped into double digits, you were thinking clearly. If her election had you worried that there wouldn’t be sufficient comic relief coming out of D.C., you were way off base.
