A new low: Dems arranged for the Parkland shooter to register to vote

We have been reminded once again in recent days just how desperate Democrats are to get every last vote counted — even when the votes are illegitimate.

The new majority party has long been soft on illegal immigration, figuring that every warm body that sneaks across the southern border is another prospective voter. In the last couple of years, they turned their efforts toward registering convicted felons. In 2016, the governor of Virginia gave 206,000 felons the right to vote, flouting the state constitution’s intent. A year later an election worker in North Carolina was charged with altering a voter database so felons could vote.

For a group that loves to demonize Donald Trump for his supposed callousness, they seem to know no lows when it comes to pushing their agenda. This was illustrated by a cringe-worthy story out of Broward County, Fla. No, the story is not related to embattled county election supervisor Brenda Snipes, who is once again making a mockery out of the right to vote. Rather it involves a decision by Sheriff Scott Israel, a Democrat, to allow members of Get Out the Vote into the jail to register inmates. One of those inmates Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz, who is currently awaiting trial.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The voting drive took place in July but just came to light thanks to a tweet by Andrew Pollock, whose daughter was killed in the massacre:

A glimpse at the registration form reveals that Cruz registered as a Republican, which, if any of this were funny, would be a last laugh on Democrats.

According to Fox News:

As a registered voter in jail, Cruz would have been eligible to vote by absentee ballot. It’s unclear if he applied to vote absentee or if he voted.
