UK preparing itself for something called ‘Punish A Muslim Day’

The United Kingdom is bracing for something being billed as “Punish a Muslim Day” set for April 3 after anonymous fliers were sent to Muslim communities warning them of the day.

Islamic communities are receiving messages through WhatsApp warning them to be careful after letters were circulated to encourage people to attack Muslims Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail. Muslim women were warned not to wear hijabs nor pick up their children alone from school. The letters were first sent out in March, The New York Times reported.

“Police are investigating a number of reports of potentially malicious communications sent to individuals across the UK,” according to the UK’s Counter-Terrorism Unit in a statement March.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“They have hurt you, they have made your loved ones suffer. They have caused you pain and heartache. What are you going to do about it? Are you a ‘sheep’ like the vast majority of the population?” the letter reads.

The letters for “Punish a Muslim Day” were sent out throughout London, the East Midlands, and Yorkshire. The letters created a point system to attack Muslims. Attackers can get 10 to 2,500 points based on the extent of the attack. The system says that the attackers can get 10 points if they verbally abuse a Muslim, 25 points if they remove a headscarf from a Muslim woman, 50 points if they throw acid in the face of a Muslim, 100 points if they beat up a Muslim, 250 points if they torture a Muslim, 500 points if they butcher a Muslim, 1,000 points if they bomb a mosque, and 2,500 points if they nuke Mecca.
