Soon to be made into an opera titled “Chuck Schumer and the Night Visitors.”

Schumer has been feeling the heat from his party and constituents ever since the #SchumerShutdown became the #SchumerSurrender. But at least the New York senator was able to get in his nightly forty winks.

But that was before the “educated and talented young” illegal aliens he claimed to be going to bat for found out where he lived and decided to pay him a visit.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to Fox News Insiders and other sources, protesters camped outside his apartment last night, chanting, “If Chuck won’t let us dream, we won’t let him sleep.” There were also chants in Spanish, including ”Schumer, escucha: Estamos en la lucha!” (“Listen, Schumer, we are in the fight!”).

Organizers of the protest advertised on Facebook and Twitter:

It’s not clear whether the demonstrators plan to make their nightly visits a vigil until Schumer is able to negotiate a deal on DACA that meets with their approval, but if the protests continue, the president may want to change his nickname for Schumer — “Cryin’ Chuck” — to “Sleepy Chuck.”

Schumer of course could always pull the plug on the demonstrations by contacting Immigration and Customs Enforcement and asking them to perform a green card check on protesters.
