Who treated Haiti like more of a sh*thole, Trump or the Clintons?

As Sh*tholegate enters Day 2, comments and condemnations from critics of Donald Trump continue to flood in across social and asocial media. Yesterday, anchors at CNN used the word sh*thole unredacted a combined 32 times, and one reporter at the network declared that this was Trump’s “new rock bottom.”

For his part, the president issued two denials. The first was that he called any country a sh*thole. The second was that he referred to Haiti using that term, which seems to affirm that he did use it to denigrate some countries.

Among those on social media to take the president to task over his foul mouth was Chelsea Clinton, who seems at this late date not to have learned how much baggage attends her maiden name:

At the very least, the younger Clinton should be aware that her defense of Haiti rings hollow, especially among Haitians, who protested outside Hillary Clinton’s office in 2015 over the billions of dollars stolen by the Clinton Foundation. The money was originally designated as part of the relief effort to help the island nation rebuild following the massive hurricane that had struck in 2010.

Chelsea personally profited from the stolen funds. According to a leaked email from Doug Band, onetime deputy assistant to Bill Clinton in the White House, to Hillary campaign chairman John Podesta, Chelsea Clinton used some of the relief money to pay for her $3 million wedding:
