Yeesh, not even Klay Thompson, who’s half white?

Last night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the 2017 NBA championship. Almost instantaneously, the team decided to decline an invitation to the White House — in the event one came. That still hasn’t happened.

In a statement earlier today, the team said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Today is all about celebrating our championship. We have not received an invitation to the White House, but will make those decisions when and if necessary.

Less than an hour later, a second article in the same paper affirmed that the decision had in fact been made and that it was unanimous.

Ugly and petulant? You bet. The move shows that the Warriors are more chumps than champs.

They’re racist to boot. The team had no hesitation accepting an invitation to the White House in 2015 when Barack Obama was still president.

Although the Warriors have not yet received an invitation from President Trump, they did receive one from Nancy Pelosi, who tweeted out:

Their leadership is inspiring? Is she saluting the team for snubbing the president?
