Liberal TV host, comedian, and pyschic Chelsea Handler wants you to know that she is “in Paris to make sure they don’t f*ck up their election like we did ours.” She shared this information via Twitter yesterday, and I must admit I’m impressed. Who knew Handler had the power to drop in on a foreign nation and make a difference in the outcome of an election?
But it was another tweet she posted that has generated minor buzz. Here it is:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
I guess one of @realDonaldTrump‘s sons is expecting a new baby. Just what we need. Another person with those jeans. Let’s hope for a girl.

Three hours after posting the tweet, she was back on Twitter to inform everyone who ridiculed her that she knows the correct spelling of genes.
Sorry about spelling mistake. I meant “genes,” not “jeans.” I’m a little stoned. What’s your excuse?

There is still the unresolved matter of Handler’s tenuous grasp on genetics, which is evident in the last sentence of her tweet: “Let’s hope for a girl.” But except in the case of genetic abnormalities, every child, regardless of sex, receives the same number of chromosomes from each parent.
Maybe Handler would benefit from being a lot stoned. Or from not sharing her political insights in the first place.
