Remember Hillary Clinton’s claim that the only emails from her private server that she deleted were personal messages, related to yoga, Chelsea’s wedding, or the like?
In case you don’t here’s what she said:
In the end, I chose not to keep my personal e-mails – e-mails about planning Chelsea’s wedding or my mother’s funeral arrangements, condolence notes to friends, as well as yoga routines, family vacations, the other things you typically find in inboxes. No one wants their personal e-mails made public, and I think most people understand that and respect that privacy.
And here’s a video of her saying it (beginning at 01:37):
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Well, guess what? She lied.
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, tweeted this a short time ago:
Federal court hearing in one hour on new Benghazi-related docs in “deleted” Clinton emails.
— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) August 30, 2016
Writing at The Political Insider, LU contributor Rusty Weiss included an elaboration by Fitton:
It is astonishing that Hillary Clinton tried to delete and hide Benghazi emails and documents. No wonder federal courts in Florida and DC are ordering the State Department to stop stalling and begin releasing the 14,900 new Clinton emails.
Presumably, we will find out shortly what details about the Benghazi raids and the administration’s response Clinton believed it was prudent to attempt to hide.
Stay tuned.
