You can’t make this stuff up!
On May 8, the New York Times ran an article headlined “Muslim Leaders Wage Theological Battle, Stoking ISIS’ Anger.” The first paragraph explains:
As the military and political battle against the Islamic State escalates, Muslim imams and scholars in the West are fighting on another front — through theology.
The article itself is what you would expect from a publication that long ago sold its soul. But it’s not content of the piece that makes the article memorable. Rather, it is the correction appearing at the end, which you are urged to read in its entirety. Note in particular the Snapchat handle given for Imam Suhaib Webb:
