This has to be the ultimate case of “do as I say, not as I do.”
U.S. liberal groups, divided in their support of Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, have urged a united, active opposition to Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner.
In an open letter released on Tuesday, a group of liberal organizations called for a “non-violent movement” to thwart Trump’s candidacy for November’s general election, calling the New York billionaire a “hate-peddling bigot who openly incites violence.”
“This is a five-alarm fire for our democracy,” said the letter….
So, which “pacifist” groups are behind the initiative? None other than MoveOn.org, which is backing Sanders (no surprise there), and the Service Employees International Union, a Clinton supporter.
That’s pretty rich considering that MoveOn.org, the “brainchild” of far-left billionaire George Soros, has taken credit for last week’s protest in Chicago last week that shut down a Trump rally.

During the event, protesters could be heard shouting, “We shut sh*t down.” Before the smoke had cleared, two police officers were injured and five demonstrators were under arrest.
SEIU has not been in the headlines as recently, though the union has a lengthy and deplorable history of violence. In 2011, SEIU bused hundreds of its thugs to Dearborn, Mich., to shut down a conference that, ironically, addressed union democracy and worker empowerment. That same year, the discovery phase of a lawsuit against the union unearthed a 70-page “intimidation manual” that detailed how “outside pressure can involve jeopardizing relationships between the employer and lenders, investors, stockholders, customers, clients, patients, tenants, politicians, or others on whom the employer depends for funds.”
