This note “from school” is the bestest, funnest thing I have seen so far this year.
The authorship has yet to be verified, but the parents of Cara, who appears from her picture to be around 5 or 6, seem to have decided (albeit good-naturedly) that it’s a fraud.
According to a Reddit posting by Cara’s mom, the letter announcing that school vacation would be extended another week, arrived on Sunday (a non-mail delivery day).
A photo of the letter appears below. It reads:
The school compnay [sic] is taking a brake [sic] so the kids will get one more week of school off and we will need your child to sign their name here.

The note not only has a line for a signature, which Cara has already completed, but a nifty pink princess stamp.
