If Starbucks won’t come to the mountain…
You may be aware of the kerfuffle that arose last month over Starbucks’s refusal to wish its customers a Merry Christmas this year, at least as far as its cups go.
This year’s cups have the usual green-and-red holiday color scheme, but there is no greeting or other text at all.
Luckily, LU affiliate Patriot Depot has made it possible for you to enjoy your Starbucks coffee (or the coffee of your choice) in a cup that wishes you a Merry Christmas and then some.
The design, which includes the message “It’s OK to say ‘Merry Christmas’,” appears on the right below (on the left is Starbucks’s “silent” entry). Notice that the Starbucks iconic crowned woman with flowing locks is replaced by a nativity scene.
