During a moment of silence for the Paris victims, fans at a soccer stadium in Turkey did this

Barack Obama has emphasized on numerous occasions that we are not at war with Islam. The question that needs to be asked is whether followers of Islam consider themselves at war with us.

That’s certainly one possible interpretation of the hard-to-explain behavior of soccer fans at a stadium in Turkey, a country whose population is between 96.4% and 99.8% Muslim.

A moment of silence for the victims of the Paris attacks was booed by Turkish fans Tuesday during a friendly game against Greece, Reuters reported.

Reuters reporter Ece Toksabay tweeted that the fans booed the minute of silence before breaking out into a chant of “Allah Akbar.”
