Video: Prager U on the real reason for the Civil War

The South’s Confederate past has been in the news in recent months, which prompted us to revisit an issue that, somehow, is still not settled. What caused the Civil War? Was it slavery? States’ rights? Something else? In this week’s Prager U video, we asked Col. Ty Seidule, a history professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, to settle the issue once and for all. Enjoy!
