The wall went up long ago. Now all that remains to be seen is which Democrats have the courage to recognize the scope and nature of the atrocities that are being committed by Planned Parenthood.
Hillary Clinton, who wants to be your president, does not have the courage. After glimpsing still images from the first four videos compiled by the Center for Medical Progress, Clinton conceded the pictures were “disturbing.” She has since backed away from that statement, yesterday affirming her undying support for Planned Parenthood, telling prospective voters, “We will not go back. We will fight back.” Give Clinton credit, though. She may be a slave to politics, but at least she has countenanced images from the video. Barack Obama, who also has Planned Parenthood’s back, has not.
As for the liberal argument that Planned Parenthood provides essential health services to women and that conservatives are attempting to sabotage women’s health options, the left conveniently ignores the fact that abundant alternatives exist. Jay Hobbs, communications director for Heartbeat International, a pro-life organization that assists with pregnancies, is quoted by the Daily Signal as saying:
If Planned Parenthood were gone tomorrow, the nation’s 2,500 pregnancy help centers, medical clinics, maternity homes and non-profit adoption agencies would continue to offer true choice, true empowerment to every mother who is facing an unexpected pregnancy.
Here without further ado is the fifth video. It stars Melissa Farrell, Director of Research, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. Early in the interview, she utters these words:
If we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, it’s all just a matter of line items.
Once heard, that statement, and the cold businesslike way in which it is uttered, cannot be unheard. How liberals manage is a question for the ages.
