Islamic State’s latest execution video is a new low even for them

They’ve burned a prisoner alive and frog marched others along a beach where all were made to kneel and were then shot in the back of the head in unison by a cadre of terrorists armed with rifles. If you thought those were the sadistic depths to which the bloodthirsty members of Islamic State are capable of stooping, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

SITE Intel Group reports:

The Ninawa division of the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq released a video of barbarically executing over a dozen spies by drowning them in a cage, shooting a car in which they sit with an RPG and immolating them, and beheading them with explosive cord wrapped around their necks.

The Daily Mail has a number of still images from the video, including a pictorial series of the caged men being drowned like rats, the last of which shows them thrashing about after the cage has been fully submerged.

Another still is of the handheld grenade launcher trained at the car filled with prisoners:

RPG about to be fired

A second image taken soon over shows the car bursting into flames.

Of the drowning, the Mail notes that portions of the video were shot with an underwater camera so as to capture the final moments of terror-filled moments of the captives:

Once completely submerged, the video cuts to the high-tech underwater cameras, which show the men thrashing around until they appear to lose consciousness and fall to the floor.

The cage is then removed from the pool, with the dying men seen foaming at the mouths as they lie piled on top of one another under the blazing sun.

The IS has made it clear they will stop at nothing to achieve their goal of establishing a worldwide caliphate. They have been equally clear in showing the barbaric delight they appear to take in killing their enemies.
