Video: Prager U explores whether humans have free will

Just over two years ago, a remarkable man, Frank Pastore, unexpectedly died at 55. He began his career as a professional baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds and eventually became one of the leading popular Christian thinkers and theologians in America.

His ideas have lived on both in print and in video. In the video that follows, Pastore discusses the concept of free will. Among the questions asked are:

  • Do humans have free will or are our decisions entirely products of chemistry, physics, and genetics?
  • Is there a difference between the brain and the mind?
  • Could a neuroscientist with enough knowledge of our brains know every decision that we’ll make?

The answers to these questions, as you will see, cut to the heart of what it means to be human.
