Suddenly Hillary Clinton is the epitome of transparency, tweeting, “I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release.” Obviously, the once presumptive Democratic nominee for 2016 has her back against the wall and will now do or say anything to get back in the party’s good graces. But even her offer of openness is tainted by the revelation yesterday that her email account was mediated through her own home server, affording her the opportunity to erase permanently any emails that might cast her in a bad light.
It may be too late in any case. According to CNN’s Peter Hamby, the anybody-but-Hillary wing of the party is fired up.
