Facebook removes American ISIS supporter photo for ‘graphic violence’

A Facebook user, “Mike,” posted a photo of a man evidently wearing the ISIS emblem in a deli in Houston, Texas on Wednesday.

The images have since been removed after Facebook claimed it was reported for “graphic violence.” The user who posted the images, which received over 4,000 “likes” in less than a day, told Liberty Unyielding that his cover page, a photo of him with his family, was also reported falsely for “nudity.”

How many Islamic State supporters exist in America? It is a chilling thought, indeed. While it is well known that home grown jihadists exist, there is little discussion about the ongoing efforts to recruit the disenfranchised lost souls who seem to take comfort in a radical form of Islam which seems to be gaining in power with each passing day. There is even less discussion on the effectiveness of those recruitment efforts and what is being done about it.

Mike was featured on Houston’s “Mike Patrick” show on Thursday.

This image was posted openly on Facebook Wednesday by a man whose Facebook profile says is from Chicago:

The same Facebook user posted a picture of himself sporting an ISIS logo at the Department of Motor Vehicles, according to his post:

As previously reported at the Brenner Brief, not only are some Americans sympathetic to the “cause” of an Islamic Caliphate, many indeed have gone to extraordinary lengths to join the fight overseas in Iraq and Syria. The commonly cited number of Americans fighting with Islamic terrorists in the middle east is “100,” the same number that was cited in April – five months ago. It is common knowledge at this point (at least for those paying attention), that the situation in Europe is even more dire, at least at the moment.

As reported at Liberty Unyielding Thursday, the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab is recruiting in Minnesota. The ISIS outreach efforts include videos and even a glossy magazine.

Bryan Preston of PJ Media posted the latest edition Thursday and it can be seen here:
