Pelosi ‘needs to check herself in, if you know what I mean’ (Video)

U.S. Rep. Tom Marino. R-Pa., appeared on The Kelly File Monday and told guest host and Fox News anchor Shannon Bream that House Minority Leader “Nancy Pelosi needs to apologize to those of us she thinks are insignificant.”

His comments referred to a dust-up he had with the California congresswoman following a floor speech Friday in which he’d criticized Democratic leadership for not enacting immigration reform at a time when it controlled both chambers of Congress and the White House.

Pelosi broke protocol by marching over to the Republican side of the House to address Marino directly during his speech. He related to Bream that she called Marino a liar’

When he finished his remarks, she again rose from her seat to approach him, this time berating him as an “insignificant person,” according to his tweets.

Marino told Bream that contrary to a statement issued by Pelosi’s office, he never apologized to the minority leader, and if an apology is warranted, it should come from her and not him.

“I want her to apologize to my constituents and the American people,” he told Bream.

After his appearance on Fox, he tweeted a video clip of the interview.

The Twitter community offered Marino plenty of support. Here are a few examples collected by Twitchy:

But by far, my favorite came from a Twitter user with the handle “Tone Balone.”
