OK, first the headline if you haven’t you yet heard: Actor Tracy Morgan is in intensive care, described as in critical condition, at a New Jersey hospital following a multi-vehicle pileup on the New Jersey Turnpike around 1 a.m. Saturday. The entertainer was returning from a standup engagement at a Garden State casino.
An eyewitness to the collision, Sgt. First Class Greg Williams, told the Associated Press that “two tractor-trailers, a sports utility vehicle and two cars, along with Morgan’s limo bus, were involved in the accident.” One person was killed in the crash.
Tracy Morgan has done and said some controversial things. Right now, however, what he needs from the public is prayers and good wishes, not scolding. Maybe the loons at Westboro Baptist Church could have waited before tastelessly tweeting at 8:08 this morning:
