Texas Senator: Obama ‘has taken lying to a new level’

“This has been a cover up from the very beginning…”

Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) has taken the political fist fight between Congressional Republicans and Barack Obama to the next level when he accused the Administration of taking “lying to a new level,” as reported by CNN on Dec.2, 2013.

Speaking at an on-line interview tagged a “Google Hangout session,” the number two Republican in the U.S. Senate opened fire on the current White House scandal regarding questions of honesty and transparency from the Obama Administration swirling around the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya which resulted in the deaths of four Americans.

Dropping a C-Bomb…

As the Lone Star senator stated:

Since the terrible tragedy that took four American lives in Benghazi, we’ve had difficulty, to put it mildly, trying to get to the bottom of this.

Now the goal is to talk to the Benghazi survivors – people who were actually there who could tell the truth and expose what happened and hold the people responsible accountable.

This has been a cover up from the very beginning.

Shifting to the Obamacare debacle, Cornyn ensured his feelings on the subject were crystal clear when he stated:

We’ve seen this most recently in the health care debate over ‘if you like what you have you can keep it,’something that we can go back to 2010 and demonstrate that the Department of Health and Human Services knew was false.

Tying the two separate incidents together, Cornyn complained that no matter how hard Congressional Republicans strive for answers,  “the administration decides to cover this up and mislead and to change the subject as they seem to be very good at doing.”
