Another candidate for mother of the year has emerged. From NBC Tampa affiliate WFLA:

Pasco deputies arrested a woman after she used a stun gun on her daughter in an argument about house cleaning, deputies said.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s report, Cynthia Alexander got into an argument with her daughter Stephanie Thompson. Thompson told deputies her mother didn’t agree with how she cleaned the mobile home the two shared.

The argument got physical, and after punching and pushing her daughter, Alexander pulled a stun gun out of her pocket and discharged it into Thompson’s face, deputies said.

Thompson rushed out of the trailer, followed by her mom. A neighbor riding by on a bicycle reportedly stopped and (literally) disarmed Alexander.

Thompson has decided not to press charges against Alexander, who was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic battery.

Previous candidates for LU’s Best Mom award the mother, also from Florida, who left her young children in a car while attending a rap concert, the mother who forced her 9-year-old daughter to pose for nude ‘porn shots’ to send to fiancé in jail, and the New Jersey mother arrested for taking her 6-year-old duaghter to a tanning salon.
