Massive destruction in my old neighborhood

Rioting and destruction have spread to many American cities. Criminals took advantage of protests to inflict major damage along the streets in Washington, D.C., where I used to walk to and from work. There was major damage to banks, hotels, restaurants, coffee and sandwich shops, liquor stores, and buildings owned by non-profit organizations. The photo at top shows damage to a university.
