Trans-identifying mass shooter Robin Westman confessed in a manifesto that he “was tired of being trans” and wished he had “never brainwashed” himself into being trans.
Westman shared his disturbing manifesto on YouTube before he gunned down the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and killed two children on Wednesday. He wrote that he only kept his long hair because it would be an “embarrassing defeat” to cut it, according to a translation by the New York Post.
“I only keep [the long hair] because it is pretty much my last shred of being trans. I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself,” Westman said, according to the translation. “I can’t cut my hair now as it would be an embarrassing defeat, and it might be a concerning change of character that could get me reported. It just always gets in my way. I will probably chop it on the day of the attack.”
Westman changed his name from Roger to Robin in 2019 under the approval of his mother, Mary, because he identified as a female, court records show. The petition, which was granted in January 2020, stated that Westman “identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification.” (RELATED: Jacob Frey Chews Up Entire Minute Virtue Signaling To Trans Community Following Catholic School Shooting)

“I regret being trans… I wish I was a girl I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today.”

The shooter also said that he regretted being “trans” and wished he truly were a girl, which is impossible given current medical technology (sex changes can only give trans people fake private parts that are not like the real thing, as trans people have lamented).
“I regret being trans.. I wish I was a girl I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today,” Westman said.
In his journal, Westman also wrote that he did not want to wear girly clothes all the time because he understood he is not a woman, but he “definitely [didn’t] feel like a man,” the Post reported. He also disturbingly praised the Sandy Hook school shooting in 2012 and wrote about his fantasies to be a “scary horrible monster standing over those powerless kids” ahead of the tragic shooting in Minneapolis.
Hours before the shooting, Westman posted videos to YouTube where he zoomed in on ammunition, multiple guns and cartridges with cryptic messages written on them, including one that called to kill President Donald Trump.
Westman’s mother worked as a secretary at the Annunciation Catholic School for five years before her retirement in 2021.
Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey spent an entire minute during Wednesday’s press conference lecturing people not to “villainize the trans community” in the wake of the shooting.
The media appears hesitant to cover the fact that Westman was transgender. Many outlets, including The Washington Post and NBC News, used Westman’s preferred feminine pronouns in their coverage of the shooter.
Sex changes come with serious side effects than can leave transgender people with lifelong pain and discomfort, as a transgender activist conceded in the New York Times op-ed, “My New Vagina Won’t Make Me Happy.” That”s because of the physical pain and discomfort that result from a sex change, and the artificial, subpar nature of the sex organ that doctors create in sex-change surgery. As Andrea Long Chu wrote in that op-ed:
Next Thursday, I will get a vagina. The procedure will last around six hours, and I will be in recovery for at least three months. Until the day I die, my body will regard the vagina as a wound; as a result, it will require regular, painful attention to maintain. This is what I want, but there is no guarantee it will make me happier. In fact, I don’t expect it to.
She still wanted the sex change, but doctors don’t have magical powers, so “sex change” surgery can’t fully give transgender people the body they want. Hence, Chu’s admission that she won’t be happy, even after her sex change. The suicide rate of transgender people actually rises after they get sex changes, according to the Heritage Foundation.
“Gender-affirming care” leads to permanent and disfiguring changes. To overcome parents’ natural reluctance to subject their kids to this suffering, doctors who do sex changes often falsely tell parents that they need to gender-transition their kid to keep them from committing suicide, even though that’s not true. One of America’s most prominent gender doctor, “Dr. Olson-Kennedy disclosed to how she speaks with parents of gender dysphoric patients: ‘We often ask parents, “Would you rather have a dead son than a live daughter?”’” But one study found that sex changes massively increase suicide risks, rather than reducing them. Indeed, the “FDA knew ‘gender affirming’ puberty blockers increase ‘suicidality’ in 2017,” reported Just the News. The transgender lawyer challenging Tennessee’s restrictions on transgender treatments for minors, Chase Strangio, conceded to the Supreme Court that “completed suicide is thankfully and admittedly rare” among transgender youth, even those not given gender-affirming treatment, and that “there is no evidence…that this treatment reduces completed suicide.”
Transgender treatments have significant side effects. A recent study shows 95% of young biological women on testosterone developed pelvic floor dysfunction. As the London Telegraph reports, “Around 87 per cent of the participants had urinary symptoms such as incontinence, frequent toilet visits and bed-wetting, while 74 per cent had bowel issues including constipation or being unable to hold stools or wind in. Some 53 per cent suffered from sexual dysfunction.”
Jazz Jennings was the poster child for child sex changes, with his very own TV show celebrating Jazz’s sex change. But as an adult, Jazz became miserable. Jazz’s penis was surgically removed at age 17, after Jazz was put on puberty blockers at age 11. Later on, Jazz said, “I don’t feel like me, ever.” After Jazz’s sex change, Jazz experienced pain, constant reflux, a lack of sex drive, an inability to orgasm, rapid weight gain, and mental illness. Health providers falsely said that a sex change would make Jazz happy, and falsely told Jazz’s mother that Jazz was at risk for suicide if she didn’t allow Jazz to transition. “Do you want a live daughter or a dead son?,” they said. The FDA has warned that the puberty blockers given to transgender kids as part of their gender transition can cause brain swelling and permanent vision loss. Puberty blockers also prevent the increase in bone density that would normally occur during puberty, with some patients experiencing lifelong bone issues, according to the New York Times.
Under President Biden, the Pentagon paid for some soldiers to get sex changes, even though this made them less able to deploy to combat zones in remote areas. The Washington Examiner reported that taxpayers paid “the bill for gender reassignment surgery for active military personnel and veterans, with some treatments costing upward of $200,000 under an executive order signed by President Biden.”
