Finally, McDonald’s Has Answer To Problem Joe Biden Made Worse
Biden at McDonald's

There’s nothing more American than a Big Mac. There’s nothing more un-American than a Big Mac that costs 18 bucks.

Thanks to out-of-control spending during President Joe Biden’s administration, everything under the sun got more expensive. Gas. Groceries. Even McDonald’s. Gone were the days of a combo meal that cost less than $9. Gone were the days of the so-called “dollar menu.”

Thankfully, though, McDonald’s is finally addressing its absurd prices.

According to The Wall Street Journal, McDonald’s plans to reduce prices on combo meals in a bid to attract more customers like yours truly and rebuild its image as an affordable option for everyday Americans they alienated during the Biden-Harris administration.

McDonald’s plans to cut the prices of eight combo meals by 15% and introduce $5 breakfast deals and $8 offers for the Big Mac and McNuggets later in the year. The new initiative will be branded as “Extra Value Meals,” emphasizing affordability, because what’s the point of fast food if it isn’t affordable?

“Customers are telling us they need more of the everyday value and affordability that defines the McDonald’s brand,” Joe Erlinger, head of McDonald’s U.S. business, said in an internal memo.

That should go without saying. In pockets across the country, McDonald’s prices are shooting off into outer space. Take suburban California, for example. The Wall Street Journal’s Kyle Smith snapped a picture of a menu there, and the prices were horrifying. A quarter-pounder with cheese for $14? Since when did McDonald’s become as expensive as a sit-down restaurant? (RELATED: It Was An Insane Year For McDonald’s)

Ah, that’s right. Thanks, Joe.
