Teaching Muslim children to hate Jews and call for their death is nothing new. As LU contributing editor Renee Nal reported in 2014, a children’s television program broadcast via Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV dedicated itself to teaching pre-schoolers to hate and kill Jewish people.
In a segment discussing “neighbors’ rights,” “Nahul, an adult in a giant bee costume,” advises children to “punch” Jews and “make their face red like a tomato.” The bee continues, “Allah willing so that we can liberate Palestine.” The big stuffed bee also told children to take stones and ‘smash’ ‘the Jewish neighbors.’”
Here’s a clip from the show titled “Tomorrow’s Pioneers”:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The show ceased airing in 2009, but the virulent anti-Semitic message it attempted to impress on young minds endures. Below you will find a more recent video in elementary school children chant:
We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will lead the army of Allah fulfilling His promise, and we will subject them to eternal torture.
So which Arab nation did this obscenity occur in? Try Philadelphia, Pa. The occasion was “Ummah Day” (ummah is an Arabic word translating roughly to “community”) sponsored by the Muslim American Society (MAS). Curiously, the “Latest News” section of the group’s website has an article titled “MAS stands in solidarity with our Jewish Community in San Diego.”
Mixed message, anyone?
Imagine if you will the coverage of Christian or Jewish kids in Philadelphia singing similar songs https://t.co/hQYJW4Hbx0
