Police reportedly took Nick Reiner into custody in relation to the death of his parents, beloved Hollywood director Rob Reiner, and his wife, Michele.
TMZ reported Monday that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department took 32-year-old Nick into custody Monday morning. Sources close to the situation told the outlet that one of Reiner’s daughters located the bodies of her deceased parents with their throats slit Sunday inside their Los Angeles home.
Initial reports suggest the violence may have been triggered by a family dispute.
TMZ reported Sunday that Reiner and his wife were found with lacerations consistent with a knife. A spokesperson for the Reiner family confirmed their deaths on Sunday evening.
