The strategist who ran former Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 campaign appears to have a new foreign lobbying gig, according to documents filed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

David Plouffe, a former senior political adviser to Barack Obama who was brought on as a senior adviser to Harris, registered on Feb. 9 to be a consultant with Precision Strategies, LLC. to work with an Indonesian group, according to the FARA documents. The group title, per the documents, is Yayasan Berbakti Semangat Indonesia. Plouffe’s documents say his job is to be consulting “in support of public relations services to foreign principal” and to help enhance “public awareness of Indonesia’s culture and economy.”

It appears Plouffe will be paid $12,500 a month for his services, the public documents show.

Precision Strategies, who Plouffe appears to be registering with as a consultant, is a political consulting organization that has partnered with Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and March for Our Lives, a gun control advocacy organization. The senior president, Chris Allen, was previously a senior advisor to Democratic Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, according to the organization’s website. Kristin Avery, the senior vice president, was in the Biden-Harris Administration as the White House Liaison for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service, the website reads.

Yayasan Berbakti Semangat Indonesia is a foundation “committed to improving the quality of democracy and public welfare through educational and empowerment activities,” according to a translation of its website. The organization hosts events and provides scholarships.

After Harris’ loss in November to Trump, Plouffe said in an interview with Crooked Media’s “Pod Save America,” that it is really hard for the Democratic party to win swing states.

“It’s always worth reminding people: It’s really hard for Democrats to win battleground states, okay? Let’s look at Pennsylvania: 25 percent of the electorate is liberal, roughly. 34 percent is conservative,” Plouffe said. “So in every battleground state, there’s more conservatives than liberals.”

Regarding future elections, Plouffe also warned in the interview that Democrats can’t afford to lose any of its current base. (RELATED: We Now Have The Worst Excuse For Kamala’s Crushing Loss)

“And I think as we look ahead to ’26 and ’28, particularly where you have seen drift amongst noncollege voters generally, particularly those of color, specifically, you know, we obviously have to get some of that back. We can’t afford any more erosion. The math just doesn’t f‑‑‑ing work, okay?” he said.
