Gideon Falter was minding his own business, trying to cross a London street after attending his synagogue. (London is controlled by the left-leaning Labour Party, and the Labour Party mayor, Sadiq Khan, peddles conspiracy theories.)
But London cops stopped him and told he would “be arrested” because he was “openly Jewish” and near a “pro-Palestinian march,” so “your presence here is antagonising a large group of people.”

Scotland Yard are allowing no-go zones for Jews in London, a man has claimed, after officers threatened to arrest him for “antagonising” pro-Palestinian marchers.
Gideon Falter…was wearing a kippah skull cap when he was stopped by officers last Saturday in the Aldwych area while on a walk with friends after attending synagogue.
Mr. Falter was walking along carrying a bag containing his prayer shawl when he came across a pro-Palestinian march.
In an exchange that was filmed and uploaded to social media, Mr Falter was told he would not be allowed to cross the road while the march was taking place because as a Jew his presence could create tensions among the marchers.
The police sergeant told him: “You are quite openly Jewish. This is a pro-Palestinian march. I am not accusing you of anything but I am worried about the reaction to your presence.”
In another exchange a short time later he was told if he did not leave the area he would be arrested.
The officer told him: “If you chose to remain here because you are causing a breach of the peace with all of these other people you will be arrested…because your presence here is antagonising a large group of people.”….
[Falter notes that] “Instead of addressing that threat of anti-Semitic violence, [London’s] policy instead seems to be that law-abiding Jewish Londoners should not be in the parts of London where these marches are taking place. In other words, that they are no-go zones for Jews.”
As Hot Air’s David Strom notes, Mr Falter wasn’t in the area to protest, counterprotest, or even watch the Hamas-supporting fanatics. He was out for a walk after dinner and wanted to cross a road. Why did the Jew cross the road? He couldn’t. He was Jewish and therefore a threat to the peace.”
Meanwhile, NPR — funded by your tax dollars despite its extreme ideological bias — is depicting London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, as the victim of anti-Muslim prejudice on the part of the British (even though British voters in London elected Khan by a comfortable margin, and the First Minister of Scotland is also Muslim).
The Times of India reported that London police this year arrested a man for waving the British flag at a Pro-Palestine protest. It is not certain that this is the case. Other sources have said the same thing, but a 2023 report of a man being arrested for waving the British flag at an earlier Pro-Palestine protest turned out to be erroneous — that 2023 arrest was apparently because the man made “racist comments,” according to Reuters, not because he waved the British flag.
