During the speech on manufacturing he gave yesterday at a Mack Truck plant, Joe Biden confused Donald Trump for Barack Obama. It is not uncommon for Biden to forget Obama’s name. He has done it numerous times now. But this time, he excused the error by claiming it was a “Freudian slip.” It would be interesting to know what Biden thinks a Freudian slip is and in what way this unforced error meets that description? If he used the term accurately, is it because on some deep-seated level he feels guilt over taking credit for the development of the COVID vaccine, which occurred on Trump’s watch.
