Did you enjoy former presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg’s Twitter yukfest on Twitter during a Democratic debate in January? How about his two-minute video of a gingerbread man dancing on Donald Trump’s shoulder? Or the half dozen-or so billboards he paid to have erected along roads in California with such hilarious zingers as “Donald Trump eats burnt steak. Mike Bloomberg likes his medium rare.”

If you miss the laughs, the vast majority of which were directed at, not with, Bloomberg, you might be heartened to learn that the firm behind those zany antics is now bidding to run Joe Biden’s campaign.

According to The Intercept:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Bloomberg-owned firm Hawkfish, which ran the presidential campaign of Mike Bloomberg, is in serious talks to serve the presidential campaign of Joe Biden, according to sources with knowledge of the ongoing negotiations. Along with Biden’s campaign, the firm is courting a wide swath of other progressive and Democratic organizations, opening up the possibility of Bloomberg gaining significant control over the party’s technology and data infrastructure.

If they get the job, Hawfkish will have its work cut out for it. The writers who gave us such solid gold as Bloomberg’s baffling ad for Big Gay Ice Cream, may find it hard to top candidate Biden, who already speaks in tongues. I mean, how do you compete with “Go to Joe 30330” or the “No Malarkey!” tour?
