Having expressed its gratitude for a $25 billion million bailout by promptly firing members of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Kennedy Center announced yesterday that is “furloughing” nearly 60% of its full-time administrative staff. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who must be feeling enormous pride after sponsoring the bailout in the first coronavirus stimulus bill, is making a fresh round of self-serving demands for the next stimulus package. Among them is a federal requirement that voting be conducted by mail in the 2020 election — a move that would effectively destroy every safeguard America has to make voting secure.

Pelosi announced her plan on CNN:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In the interview, the speaker explains to host Anderson Cooper that allowing Americans to vote by mail would be in the interests of preserving democracy. She showed similar flourishes of patriotism during the impeachment sham by standing next to a stylized rendering of the Stars and Stripes with a line from the pledge of allegiance.

Voting by mail would in actuality open up the process to massive voter fraud, which the Democrats on their best day insist is overstated if not non-existent. On their worst day, Pelosi and company are bullish about extending the franchise to illegal aliens, who they believe would keep them in power into perpetuity.
