Exhausted Italian doctors and nurses during the coronavirus pandemic

Thank you, doctors and nurses of Italy, working to exhaustion to save lives.

The pictures above, and below left, show Italian doctors and nurses sleeping on hospital carts and gurneys, and in their chairs, after working around the clock in hospitals that have been overwhelmed by critically-ill coronavirus patients. Hospital staff in America may soon face a similarly crushing workload.

Below right is a picture of San Francisco with the coronavirus cruise ship, the Grand Princess, off the coast. It was taken by my Aunt Jane, who is among the several million people now on lockdown in the San Francisco Bay Area, along with two of my uncles.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
