While speaking at a CAIR event in Bellevue, Washington on Saturday, Rep. Ilhan Omar, the self-persecuted, America-hating, anti-Semitic Democrat from Minnesota, falsely claimed there is an effort to ban Islam from the United States.

“I believe together we can fight against violations of our civil liberties, against threats to our civil liberties, and against efforts to ban our entire religion from this country,” she said.

We looked, but were unable to locate any efforts to ban Islam from the United States.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Omar went on to say she was reminded of this earlier in the week when three Muslim members of Congress hosted an iftar — or the evening meal where Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset — at the U.S. Capitol and were joined, she said, by “leaders and members of both houses of Congress.”

We’re still confused as to how the reaction she describes leads to her believe there is some coordinated effort or plot to remove Islam from the United States.

Video of her comment can be seen below. The relevant portion starts at the 3:29 minute mark:

The event was, if the following flyer is any indication, an effort to build “Muslim power for 2020 and beyond.”

One can only imagine the outrage if Trump supporters held an event to build “white Christian power for 2020 and beyond.”
