Social media users have been abuzz over the video of a male feminist confronting a woman who was participating in a pro-life demonstration in Toronto this week.
The verbal sparring didn’t rise above the noise level for this sort of thing. It was the male gadfly working himself into a stance and throwing a roundhouse kick at the woman that got viewers riled up.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

If he hadn’t literally kicked her to the ground, where the crazy bouncing of her phone camera indicates she took a major fall, the incident might even have been funny. The sequence in which he sets his stance seems to unfold in slow motion. We seem to see the attack coming for a full second or more. The urge to mock the attacker is strong in this case.
The woman, Marie-Claire Bissonnette, can be heard shouting for someone to call the police as the video clip ends. We can see that she recovers her phone and seems to be conscious and able to function, based on her audible response.
But the social mediasphere didn’t take this lying down. At first no one knew who the guy was. The video went viral, and local Canadians went to work.
Within hours, the roundhouse kicker was identified as one Jordan Hunt, a hairdresser who subcontracted a booth at the Noble 101 Hair Studio. He did subcontract a booth, that is; Noble 101, on discovering what he does in his off hours, quickly announced that he would no long be able to work there.
As the Daily Wire notes, the Human Defense Initiative confirmed with a source that Hunt will have to look elsewhere for a place to practice his trade.
In screenshots provided to the Human Defense Initiative, when questioned about the assault, the shop replied “Was a sub contracter [sic]. Until today when I found out what happened today!!!! Not cool. He will never step foot in my studio again.”
It’s not clear when Hunt will begin looking for new digs. As of this writing, he remains elusive: he’s lost his studio position, but the police haven’t found him. They’re requesting tips so they can track this individual down.
If you have any information on Hunt’s whereabouts, please call the Toronto PD at 416-808-2222.
Marie-Claire Bissonnette asks that well-wishers join her in praying for her assailant.
