For many people, supporting a higher minimum wage is a no-brainer. Of course workers should make more money!

But many people don’t know that raising the minimum wage hurts one group of people – the working class. Because when the government raises the minimum wage, companies have to either cut hours, lay off workers, raise consumer prices, or all three.
