With a week to go until Election Day and the race for president now a statistical tie, Hillary Clinton has more or less traded places with Donald Trump. A week ago, Trump was fixated on defending himself against unproved claims of sexual misconduct while Hillary remained cool and calm. Since then she has lost all sense of decorum. She has taken to shrieking at her rallies, reminding anyone willing to listen that Donald Trump once ridiculed the weight of a Miss Universe contestant, while he has begun focusing on the issues, especially the administration’s admission that Obamacare premiums will rise draatically across the board this coming year.
Clinton, who is being tested for the first time in the campaign, has forgotten a cardinal rule of politicking: Never let them see you sweat. Focus on your message, and ignore hecklers.
Last night, as she was stumping in Florida, where Trump now has a 1-point lead, a protester in the audience shouted, “Bill Clinton is a rapist!” Watch her unhinged response in the video that follows:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
It’s hard to hear her exact words over the din of her echo chamber in the audience, but her finger-pointing and shrill tone are singularly unpresidential. What’s that she has been saying about the temperament to be president?
