Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. During an interview with Michelle Obama, a rapper named Wale asked the first lady, “If you had the opportunity to have a different occupation, what would it be?” It is an interesting question since by most people’s reckoning, Mrs. Obama is currently unemployed (unless you count hectoring her husband into forcing schools to comply with her school lunch program as a job).
Undaunted, Mrs. Obama answered, “I would be Beyoncé,” which is a fitting response because it is the answer to a different question (such as, “If you could be another person, who would you be?”)
“I’ve got the hands,” the first lady explained according to People magazine, whereupon she demonstrated her Beyoncé-like “moves.” These can be glimpsed in the video that follows.

As for her choice of person she would most like to be, the first lady and the singer already have much in common. Both appear to share the same disdain for the “little people” who aren’t quite as well off as they are. In much the way the First Lady spends amounts of money the average shlub couldn’t begin to dream about, Beyoncé and her rich hubby dropped $1.3 million to shut down the maternity ward at Lenox Hill Hospital during the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy.
