The video clip of a brief conversation between a trucker and a brutally honest U.S. Border Patrol agent has gone viral, and reveals everything that’s wrong with border security today.
As he approaches the border checkpoint behind a FedEx truck, Travis Pope can be heard saying, “Here I am at U.S. Border Patrol.”
Soon it’s his turn to be questioned by the agent.
“How you doing?” the agent says. “U.S. Border Patrol. How many people on board?”
“Me,” Pope replies.
“U.S. citizen?” the agent asks.
“Yeah, but does it really matter?”
“Not anymore, unfortunately. Thank you.”
Pope later posted his video of the event on Twitter:
