Seems like a waste of a perfectly good shoe, but we report, you decide on that head. Hillary handled it pretty well, after first wondering if the flying object had been a bat. She got off a few one-liners about solid-waste recycling and the shoe-thrower’s poor aim. Just getting off a one-liner about solid-waste recycling seems worthy of some kind of award.

Hillary is no stranger to the increasingly popular footwear projectile. The still-unidentified woman who threw the shoe today may have been channeling the Egyptian crowds that voted with their shoes against Hillary’s management of U.S. foreign policy in July of 2012.
