FAA approves media drones at border after Fox gets a helo lift from Texas troopers

[Ed. – With the Fox drone grounded by the FAA, reporter Bill Melugin was able to get a lift from a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter to continue surveillance of the human crisis at the Del Rio international bridge (where the migrant surge is now over 12,000).  Fox thus put out more video Friday, and the FAA reversed itself and authorized media drone flights in the restricted air space.  Fox is the only outlet with a drone there.]

After being grounded for over 12-hours, the Texas Department of Safety offered to take Melugin and his crew up to continue their coverage of Biden’s catastrophic border crisis.

Shortly after the trip, the FAA reopened the airspace.

While 10,000 illegal immigrants wait under a bridge to enter the U.S., 10,000 more are on the way. Border Patrol agents are completely overwhelmed. President Biden is at the beach for the weekend.
