Report: Biden had Kabul suicide bomber in sights but failed to pull the trigger
Joe Biden

It wouldn’t be the first time a Democratic president missed an opportunity to take out an Islamic terrorist who had killed Americans. Bill Clinton refused on several occasions to take out Osama bin Laden when his military advisers assured him they had a bead on the mastermind of 9/11 only later to take an aspirin factory.

Now a report by RedState’s Nick Arama is claiming that the Biden Defense Department had a chance to “neutralize” the Kabul suicide bomber but declined to act. But the report, if accurate, is much more damning than just that, asserting as it does that U.S. intelligence knew in advance of the attack when and even where it would occur.

The source of these bombshell allegations is Roger Pardo-Maurer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs under George W. Bush. In an interview with the Media Research Center’s Jorge Bonilla, Pardo-Maurer claims that the U.S. military “had a Predator drone lock on the bomber, but that ‘they’ refused to grant permission to take the guy out. ‘[Permission] was requested and was denied,’ he said. Why? ‘Because we are in this process of negotiating with the Taliban who aren’t even in control of their own government or their own people.'”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

A video of the interview in Spanish but with subtitles appears below.

With Reuters reporting that finger pointing within the Biden administration over the failure of the operation has begun and 52% of Americans saying the president should resign over the botched pullout, Biden’s future is looking increasingly grim.
