[Ed. – This is one of many reasons I’ll wait for the official version — or longer than that — on the Matt Gaetz thing. How can people see this slanted media manipulation over and over and still believe every piece of gossip trotted out as a scandal about Republicans the media hate? (And that’s aside from the lying, cheating DOJ and FBI we just spent the last 4 years in horror over, now “investigating” Gaetz. Don’t even bother.)]
“60 Minutes” released a clip showing their correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi questioning DeSantis at a press conference last month, over allegations that he delegated Publix to do virus vaccines after the company made a big donation to his campaign.
[T]here’s a small problem with this clip. That is, a whole lot of explanation that they cut out of it in his response.
Conservative writer A.G. Hamilton pointed out on Twitter that the CBS program “cut out several minutes” of the governor’s comments explaining what led to the deal with Publix. …
“ … CVS and Walgreens … were going to the long-term care facilities …” DeSantis told Alfonsi. …
“ … So we reached out to other retail pharmacies: Publix, Walmart, obviously CVS and Walgreens had to finish that mission and we said we’re going to use you as soon as you’re done with that,” DeSantis continued.
