[Ed. – The “Jesus Christ” belief relates to Islamic apocalyptic prophecy, which says Jesus (“Isa,” or “Issa”) will come back to earth as a herald of the Hidden Imam who is to establish the worldwide caliphate. It’s not about Jesus being the Christian Savior or the Jewish Messiah, but about the non-divine role of prophet assigned to him in Islam. At any rate, this latest extremism rock will presumably sink with no more ripples, since it’s clear it’s not a white perp.]
The deceased assailant who rammed two U.S. Capitol Police officers Friday and emerged from his car wielding a knife before police shot him has been identified as Noah Green, 25, an African American man who believed Louis Farrakhan is an incarnation of Jesus Christ.
“The suspect in Capitol Police incident is a 25 year old Indiana man named Noah Green,” tweeted MSNBC’s Jesse Rodriguez regarding reporting from NBC’s Pete Williams. “May have lived in Virginia. On his Facebook page, he notes that he is a follower of the Nation of Islam. Suspect is now dead.” …
Journalist Ian Miles Cheong tweeted images from Green’s Facebook — reportedly since deleted — in which he described himself as a “follower of Farrakhan.” Long posts detailed Green’s life struggles and religious views, which include his belief that Farrakhan is Jesus.
