Years as an author, magazine writer and television legal analyst could not give Jeffrey Toobin the exposure he received in one single Zoom session.

The famed lawyer and writer has been suspended from the New Yorker after exposing himself during a video conference call, according to a report.

Toobin, who has dissected high-profile trials involving O.J. Simpson and Michael Jackson, found himself on the receiving end of scrutiny Monday after it was revealed that during a video call between staffers at the New Yorker and WNYC radio, the prolific writer allegedly showed his penis, according to VICE.

The website said Toobin was masturbating during the call.

The New Yorker said the incident is under investigation.

“I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera,” Toobin, 60, said in a statement to VICE. “I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers.”
